FAU Mega Camp

FAU held a mega camp in Boca tonight. FSU had their entire coaching staff as well as coach Mike Norvell at the camp. Pittsburgh also had three coaches at the camp Charlie Partridge, Tim Salem and Cory Sanders.

The camp had a ton of quality players. FSU commitment Jayden Parrish (Delray Atlantic) was the camp. He did not work out. Parrish looked very good in person from a physical standpoint. I had the chance to watch him this spring and Parrish had 13-14 tackles, three straight tackles for loss. He was very impressive. Jabari Howard who recently transferred from Westland Hialeah to Miami Central was at the event. He is a legit 6’2. Miami Central had like 3-4 other prospects at the camp. TK Cunningham class of 2027. He has a brother who is a highly rated DL at Miami Central. Dylan Stephenson was there as well and did not work out. Bekkem Kritza and JC Evans (Miami Central QB’s) both were at the camp as well. Xavier Lucas from Dillard HS was also in street clothes.

Best performance of the night: Matthew McKenzie. He is exactly what you look for in a defensive back. He has size (6’2-180). He is very fluid. He also displayed impressive footwork. He is as good as any defensive back at the camp. Whether in street clothes or actually working out.

Palm Beach County…Been a long time since Palm Beach had this much talent…Two schools represented well were Cardinal Newman and Benjamin.Max Redmon performed well enough to pull in offers from FSU and Pittsburgh tonight. He is a 6’3-190 pound LB. He looks the part. Naeshaun Montgomery a class of 2025 prospect is a name to remember. Jacob Cosby Mosley an Athlete from Benjamin is a name to also keep in mind. He performed very well and it would not surprise us to see him receive an offer. Javian Mallery a 2026 RB from West Boca reminds me of Alex Collins. He is a big, powerful back. He recently got offered by Georgia and Ohio State is close to pulling the trigger.

Coconut Creek showed out well at the camp…Elijah Cannon is a name to remember. He is a 6’1-170 pound CB. He is a name that could blow up over the next month.

Another player who looked very good was Damiane Wilson. He is probably not a big three caliber player but these are the types of kids who leave the state and end up having great college careers. I could see him end up at a school like a Kansas State.

Justin Fells from Palatka was at the football camp. The coach from Palatka was telling me how his father played at FSU. Just is around 6’2-220 pounds. He plays running back but we see him potentially as more of a linebacker.

Wilnerson Telemaque was at the camp. He is around 6’5-250 pounds. Telemaque is a 2025 prospect. He is listed as a DE but my projection says the kid plays OT in college. He is built like an OT. While he wants to play DE or DT in college it is OT where his greatest upside is at.

Ryan Mack from Saint Thomas Aquinas was at the event…Mack may be an option in the secondary. He continues to have a nice spring. His father Rod Mack played at University of Miami.

Calvin Russell from Miami Northwestern also attended the event. He is 6’5-170 pounds. Go and watch his spring film and you will come away very impressed. He is from the class of 2026. Russell will be a top ranked player in his class.

Jabari Brady from Monarch HS performed at the camp. He is in the class of 2026. Brady is the best player from Monarch since Jerry Jeudy. He holds plenty of P5 offers and will be a big time prospect when his time rolls around.

We brought the name up here first…but remember the name Dwayne Wimbley from Westminster Christian. He plays basketball but has since tried football and we feel Dwayne will end up a tight end who receives plenty of interest. He is also in the class of 2026.

Anyone recruiting Mckenzie?

Akron, Charlotte, Liberty, Western Michigan, James Madison, FIU, Toledo and USF are his offers right now. He will land P5 offers. With his size and athletic ability there are going to be schools who are going to take a chance on him.
