You talk about a monumental failure for Ohio State, this is IT. Everything they put into this season, everything they PAID FOR and there was A LOT of that - portal guys, the coaching staff, it was all about beating this team…and this 6-5 Michigan team and Will Howard looks worse than Kyle McCord looked a year ago. I really was surprised when I found out he was gone from OSU at the end of last year. He wasn’t perfect but I think you try to keep him as he has experience in this OSU/Michigan GAME and that’s invaluable. If anything, Howard looked a lot like McCord did last year.
Both QBs were dreadful. I didn’t come away impressed with the team’s offenses but that Michgan defense was possessed. They flat out made up their minds that OSU WILL NOT RUN THAT G D FOOTBBALL TODAY and that was that! Held them to 77 yards rushing and the team that won that battle has won the last 23 games in the series. Hats off to that defense. I thought OSU would figure out the passing part eventually and win as their WRs are second to none but Will Howard just couldn’t do it.
OSU is still in that massive playoff but they’ll have to play an extra game - have to win four in a row to win an NC which will still be tough but their two first goals of the season - beat Michigan and win the Big Ten are out the window…

If this was last year, he gets fired on Monday. The only think saving him right now is the new CFP format. That means * still will make the playoff so they have a chance to win the natty. If he gets bumped out in early rounds, he may get fired.
I’ve never seen a more poorly coached offensive game then Day/Kelly
They went out of their way with the much more talented team, and colossally more talented offense to try to win that game by 3 points. And it killed em.

And it didn’t hurt that for some reason Day and Kelly insisted on doubling up on 1st and 2nd down runs. Every 2nd and 10, 2nd and 8, etc…They just kept running it.
Mind boggling. Best WR room in country, Mich without best corner…Mich pretty against the run.
