So, DOGE forced them to allow DOGE access to highly sensitive data and then immediately thereafter, someone from Russia logs in with DOGE credentials and downloads all of it. Then, he was ordered to delete all records of what he did. When he went to blow the whistle, he gets threatened and pictures of him walking his dog from a drone.
Maybe there was a reason DOGE promised to audit the government and save $2 trillion, but didn’t audit a single thing, didn’t find anything outside of programs they didn’t agree with which were all legal, and then downgraded how much they could possible save
What evidence exists showing they’ve found $1 in fraud? What they appear to have targeted is legal expenditures that they wish weren’t happening like DEI contracts or Politico subscriptions. But, that doesn’t make them fraudulent. It just makes them policies that certain people would not like us to be spending money on. Instead, it appears they’ve tried to dismantle the government and give Russia direct access into our most sensitive systems. Only $2 billion has been identified, not $100 billion or $500 billion and that’s on the backs of cutting legal programs and firing employees…which equates to $2.42 for each person, less than a cup of coffee.

Firing a bunch of people? Destroying jobs and institutions?
Yes, absolutely that is the main concern here.
USAID funded a lot of American jobs. I’m pretty sure those Americans who lost them “knew or cared about” it, even if you have no sympathy for them.
But let’s not use USAID as a straw man, since there are plenty of other organizations being shuttered and plenty of other jobs being lost.
Don’t play dumb GSC. Clearly any form of cost-cutting can go too far. You can save money by not buying food. So the main concern here is that, yes, Musk and Co don’t know what they’re doing and are doing more harm than good.
I’m sure there was tons of waste and corruption with USAID. I don’t think you’d find me criticizing cutting it anywhere.
What I’m saying, over and over apparently since you don’t seem to be getting it, is cutting waste is great but cutting valuable programs is bad.
And when you brought up whether Americans care about the cuts, my answer was that plenty of Americans are losing jobs and funding and do indeed care about the cuts.
You’re so dishonest. In one quarter, 7% of the shipments arrived on time and in full.
Also, this wasn’t money laundering. It was fraud. That’s why the Justice Dept fined them a total of $3.1 million
As far as the “wasted billions” part, a lifetime GOP propagandist who’s only credentials are writing a right wing book called Woketapus isn’t evidence. Plus, most of his “testimony” is listing things DOGE said about things he doesn’t like. No evidence. Try again.
