This is not a big deal to me. I don’t post this to scream what a horrible hypocrite Biden and the democrats are. They are- but everyone knows it.

I post it because this is emblematic of our two tiered system of law enforcement and justice in America.

If you’re part of the political order- the laws are merely suggestions.

If you are a plebeian - the laws are mandatory and punishable.

I’m starting to see the establishment as the mafia.

If you’re “made” no one but someone higher in the establishment can give the order to get you.

If you’re not made, anyone that is made can exert their will upon you and you have no options but to comply.

Very sad. I know it’s been this way in America for a long time… but it used to be well hidden. Now it’s just in plain sight and obvious.

I agree with you here GSC. Plenty of examples of both sides taking a “rules for thee, not for me” approach to this.

And then they wonder why they get backlash.

If he’s giving a speech, I don’t mind. Like Garth Brooks had his mask on, came to the podium, took it off and sang. That’s fine and the same applies to Biden.

If he stands distanced from people, takes off the mask, and does his address - nothing wrong with that. If he’s walking around, joking with people, etc. then yes, that is a bad look.
