Certainly there are laws against disturbing the peace, especially in neighborhoods. DeSantis is on firm legal ground on this issue. Trying to intimidate a judge is obstruction of justice, most definitely a criminal offense.
There is a way to protest properly. I just pray that people find those ways.

So long as you assemble in a public place (sidewalk, easement) then the state is powerless to trespass you. The 1st amendment will prevail here.

I’m not understanding. DeSantis’ bill isn’t involved with judges. It’s blocking protests in front of houses in general.
The wider story is GOP using big government to infringe on your rights, like freedom of assembly, freedom of speech (corporate being attacked by DeSantis/Disney and private speech like in the classroom), etc. The party of small and limited government uses the power of the government to block your rights. Pure hypocrisy.
Kind of like how they preach free market capitalism but I believe Trump’s economic plan is mercantilism, which coincidentally is what was the economic model BEFORE Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations that introduced and formalized capitalism. You can’t make this shit up

Maybe I assumed that the timing of Desantis Bill was done because of the protest at the judges’ house…Or that a connection was made earlier in this thread to the judges…So I just continued with that.
So if we are talking more generally speaking, I mean people have a right to sleep at night…And the left finds a reason to scream about some type of outrage every other week. So I see nothing wrong with the bill. Assemble somewhere else besides right in front of my fucking house
