Again I filtered out all players who didn’t play 50% of snaps last year. 20% missed tackle rate is NOT GOOD AT ALL. In raw numbers he tied for 5th most misses in the league.
Hamlin had the worst missed tackle percentage of all safeties…And was 15th worst regardless of position in the league
But hey Storm thinks he is some stud safety…Again I’m not saying Damar Hamlin can’t play in his this league or wasn’t adequate or even he can’t improve. I’m just proving Storm Front wrong that he was anything but average (and that may be pushing it) last year.

Never said “anyone” can do it…I said raw tackles aren’t an indicator…Someone has to make tackles on any team, and not all tackles are created equal…It matters how productive those tackles are…And of course game changing plays are a better indicator than the number of tackles…I then broke down the first 8 names on your league leader tackles list…about half of them are average players at best (and yes there were some good players win that group as well, no doubt). Just to further put your nail in the coffin saying he is some elite tackler just because he had a decent amount. I then pointed out that no safety in the NFL had a higher missed tackle percentage than Damar Hamlin. Get that through your fucking head storm when you yap about his 90 tackles…He missed a SHIT TON. THIS IS A FACT. All backed with numbers, buddy…Take that L
Storm there is literally no one who follows, analyzes, writes about, handicaps, etc…the NFL that thinks Damar Hamlin is above average. Not one person…Just admit that. It’s that simple. As for safeties and backers…Guys that are expected to make more open tackles/open field, etc…(although these tackles, the raw number obviously isn’t what’s important as things like coverage ability, run stuffs, and pressure/sacks…It’s important to be a good tackler, but you can’t tell simply by the raw number is the point) I’d say these playersrank high (obviously missing a few because I’m trying to wrap this up). And obviously they aren’t as important as pass rushers/DT

But by your “tackle” calculations Fred Warner is nowhere near as good a LB as mighty Zaire Franklin or league tackles leader Olukuon. (two basically league average LBs or in Franklin’s case, below league average)
