Christoba really had the audacity to pull Ward in this ball game and undoubtedly no I know for a fact he know motherfuckers got money riding this. I know me for one on a prop with Cam Ward. You know this is the thing that makes college football headed down the toilet cause you got silly stupid ass coaches like this. You feel me you got dumb coaches that would really risk a lot see I’m the type of dude I can’t say what I would do if I was in that town where they playing a game at I’m not gonna say what it really would happen if I catch up to Christobal but you can’t do that if that’s gonna be the case don’t play him period give us the option of how we wanna lose our money. Don’t just make us lose our money don’t do that. This is an issue man. This is a real issue. I swear to God he is playing with fire pulling the stunt cause I know how I feel and I have some money but I know it’s guys with Big Money on this game and I wouldn’t be mad if somebody blew his face off I wouldn’t feel no kind of way about it. I’ll be like oh well that’s what you get for playing with people‘s livelihoods you know it’s bigger than just the football game you know people out here that wagering I mean tons of money and just you can’t do this. You can’t do this and like I said if somebody fucking smokes his face off, I’m a clap because that’s what he fucking deserves
Bro Cam took himself out to keep his draft stock up.
He had a near-perfect first half until his hero complex returned and he tried to get the TD himself instead of just going along with the designed runs. We should have scored a TD at the end of the first half but 2 hasty passes in a row meant we settled for 3. Cam saw his draft stock getting shaky and decided he was done.
I think Cam wanted to set the career TD record and once he did he quit.
Actually, I was surprised he played in a meaningless bowl game since he is likely among the first QB’s to be taken in the draft. But, if he was planning on sitting out the second half, he should have stayed home.
I doubt Mario sat him down. I assume that decision was Cam’s.
I agree about the passing record. Once I saw that I knew why he was on the field.
But I’m with you about wishing fully committed one way or the other. If he didn’t play at all, I wouldn’t have gotten my hopes up and watched the game. Cam’s half-decision forced us to painfully watch an unprepared Emory Williams for a whole second half.
That record won’t last more than a couple of weeks.
And it is a FCS/FBS combined record so who cares?
It’s frustrating and I get it from a betting standpoint.
My advice is to not bet too much on any of the bowl games. There is too much variance in these games and no one knows who will ultimately end up playing.
Also, Cristobal isn’t trying to screw the betters in any form or fashion and if you are that worked up over wins and losses in betting you might need to look in the mirror. Seems that you are in an unhealthy place in wanting the coach to be offed for losing a game and costing you money. Seek help man.
That Cam Ward would play only a half was agreed upon before the game. It was the last game of the year, and it makes sense to play as many players as possible. We’re lucky Cam agreed to play even half the game. What makes no sense was repeating the same error made in the Syracuse game.
Mario is just not a good game day coach. Nevertheless, he’s a superb recruiter, and we had our best season in two decades. Neither of our coordinators should be fired. Our defense suffered from a lack of backfield talent, something we knew when the year started.
I am quite positive about next year. Hopefully, Mario reels in another QB and continues to concentrate on landing the capable big guys on the offensive and defensive lines. I’d like see greater speed from edge rushers and some LBs and safeties that can be used in blitz packages. Luke Nickel will wind up our QB next year, and he is as ready to play as any freshman QB. In the state championship game, he completed 21 out of 22 passes for 413 yards and 4 TDs. For the year, he Completed 277 of 419 pass attempts (66.1%) for 3,914 yards with 39 TD and 5 INT.
Certainly, we again had our perennial late season swoon, and we’re justifiably disappointed. Ten wins is a successful season, and things still look good in Coral Gables for the imminent future.
Nah, it couldn’t be hurt at that point.
That’s reaching
At the very least it could be hurt if HE got hurt.
I’m not sure if it was decided beforehand or at halftime. Either way by that point he had done what he wanted to do and there was no personal need for him to push it further.
OK that’s true.
But him throwing a couple picks for instance, wouldn’t matter…Especially with 3 of his top 4 wr out.
Anybody help this guy? He was in favor of offing our head coach. You get some help bro?
Almost sounds like Broward Cane?
