Comparing LBs

This is the category where the Hurricanes are terribly outclassed. The starting four LBs for the Tide are all pro prospects. Will The Terminator Anderson may well be the best LB in the nation. He reminds me of Derrick Thomas whom I regard as the best Tide LB of all time.

I’m thinking Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl bad. I’m hoping otherwise but expecting this.

You are comparing a 3/4/4 to a 4/2/5 defense. Bama runs a 3/4/4 20% of the time. They run a 3/2/6 and 3/3/5 around 40% of the time for each. Thus, our D matches up pretty closely.

It comes down to our WR/TE/RB. Can they get open and catch the ball! UNC is a perfect example of a team with lots of experience at OL but shit at the skill positions. On D, Miami has to contain their QB and force him to pass quickly into tight coverage.

Agreed 90s

My comparison is as posted on depth charts. It has nothing to do with formations. It’s just an example of the unevenness of players’ size.

Well, we have a 205 pound starting linebacker?! WHAT in the actual fuck?

Yet, he made actual plays compared to the 230lbers that run with cement shoes.

They better hope Brooks and Cave get healthy soon.

Do we have one guy on the front 7 that could make Bamas 2 deep?

Hunte potentially as a sde. I expect 56 to be a Bama type as well.
