But I also think this is complete horseshit.
Two consenting adults can’t choose to have a sexual relationship? Crazy.
I’m sure it was a violations of the companies policy on nepotism. Sounds like he may have been in a position to be ok had he brought up the relationship ahead of time.
I don’t feel sorry for him at all. It’s not like he didn’t know these rules existed. And while it may seem dumb, there have been plenty of examples of a company sued by someone fired by the boss after their relationship was broken off and they claim retaliation.
This one seems fishy. I’m guessing there is more than just the stated reason.
Maybe there was more than one “consensual relationship” going on.
