The US spends billions in foreign aid ALL THE TIME without fighting wars.
- Lend Lease started before we were involved in the war.
- The Marshall Plan happened post WWII.
- The Mutual Security Act launched in 1951 for anti-communist soft power.
- In 1961, the Foreign Assistance Act created the US Agency for International Development (USAID) that gives out billions and billions of dollars, all without our soldiers directly involved in war.
Every year we give BILLIONS in aid to Africa, the Middle East, Israel, etc. If the United States loves anything more than fighting wars, it is spending money.
