Chris Graves to UM

Ft. Myers ATH…CB. Big speed

looks like he mostly plays WR in high school, but i like his frame and measurables for CB. think i’ll trust T-rob with this one.

on another note, how did we lose Spells to freaking WVU ? that is totally unacceptable unless we didn’t want him.

Yes, he picked Miami and that makes this easy to say, but Graves was the more important, better recruit.

That comment is solely based on three concepts:

  1. Graves and Spells both look like upside prospects with speed.

  2. Similar to how the sites rank recruits, follow the recruitments. Graves picked from Miami and SEC schools. Spells was West Virginia and Indiana. The recruiting departments are seeing these kids differently, and

  3. there was something behind the scenes with Spells, where those programs were making the pitch that he wasn’t a Miami priority and just a local flyer. Which may have been reality, and absolutely a move that Miami should make because, for me, Spells is that type of SoFla kid that shows up in 4-years at the NFL Draft (maybe), so why not have him find that out at Miami.

I’d normally agree but ‘22 isn’t the year to have to take a kid like Spells. Little Jr could fall into our lap as Bama is going to have a hell of a time taking a bunch of kids.

Little Jr. should absolutely be a Miami commit. Unfortunately, in the current environment we aren’t expected to land him.

He should be at Miami.

Another very good player Miami has added to their secondary. Their secondary has improved greatly after the last two additions.

Very nice get here. T-Rob is paying off in this case.

Still need some high end folks to join but it’s a good start.

I’m more concerned with LB at this point.

I’m concerned with OL then LB.
