What a surprise that Noam and I are in basic agreement on a topic. I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with Noam on anything, but lo and behold we concur on one topic I refer to Chomsky rather casually since we now agree on something. Actually, I once had lunch with Chomsky while attending a Summer Institute in Linguistics held at USF in Tampa in 1975. I’ll recount my luncheon at a later date.
