I am saying that it’s dangerous for someone to make a claim that a drug works, causing people that are scared to run out and take it, not understanding the possible risks.

Ivermectin has been used to treat various diseases in humans and animals for the past 100 years. Very little risks associated with it. It has a body of evidence attached to it.
It’s been used in humans before for a long time………but not to treat COVID. That’s my point. Until there are more studies that prove it’s save for treating COVID, it may not be wise to take it.

Vitamin C has never been used to treat AIDS, but if tomorrow we started using it for such, it would still be safe because we have hundreds of years of experience of people taking vitamin C safely…. With no side effects.
You don’t get side effects from a drug because of the pathogen present that it’s fighting. You get it from the drug itself or from contraindications with other drugs used simultaneously.
It does make sense because the side effects may outweigh the risk of taking it.
Kinda like your concerns about getting the jab.

Yes- the first reason the article states is based on the FDA approval. This doesn’t prove the medicine doesn’t work on COVID, it just states that the FDA hasn’t sanctioned it.
If my doctor who’s been practicing for 20 years along with many colleagues of his approve of it, it’s good enough for me. Screw the FDA.
And regarding the side effects, nausea and hallucinations aren’t enough for me to be scared of survival from COVID. I think the benefits outweigh the risks.
