90% of the league is vaccinated but there are some coaches and GMs that are pissed that it’s not mandated and feel the players are selfish.
Not really. That’s not how herd immunity works. If schools allowed half the kids to skip measles vaccines, we’d have outbreaks in schools that included the kids who were vaccinated. It’s a numbers game. Everyone is more protected when more are vaccinated. That’s the whole point of encouraging vaccinations.
That said, I won’t comment on what the “worried” NBA workers should or should not be feeling. That’s on them.
Biden just said we need 98% of the population vaccinated to return to normal. You know that will never happen. Got to love the goal post moving. It just shows that they want to keep the control forever.

As for goal post moving - both sides do it. All the time. Pillow Man has moved his date on which he believes Trump gets reinstated several times. Now he says it’ll be by Thanksgiving.

I agree that COVID isn’t going away. I’m a little surprised they haven’t labeled it as “endemic” yet.
However, as to your comment of a “manageable” death rate, I respectfully disagree. We’re back to 2,000+ people a day dying right now. That to me is not acceptable.

It’s a slippery slope. Yes, the masks may be inconsequential to some. But we rollover on the masks, no big deal, and then they move on to the next control measure while they have us following along like good boys and girls.
