I know I didn’t watch the pre-game, the actual game, nor the post game. I didn’t even want to find out who won the next morning.
#ditto
I have ESPN+ for La Liga, Bundesliga and occasionally English soccer so I was surprised when it was broadcast on that channel under the “Buckeye Radio Broadcast Network” (or something to that effect).
I kept wondering if there was somehow a way that both teams could lose …but sadly there wasn’t…
Audiences are going to keep declining because they keep sticking traditional Bowl games behind paywalls and the public is getting tired of it all. You’d think they’d realize that they can sell a lot more ad time if they have a bigger audience which would be network TV .
This is what greed does. On the Dan Patrick Show, he was talking about how one day The Super Bowl will be behind a paywall. The moment that happens, it will be the beginning of the end. MNF viewership was up this year. That’s probably because the were showing the games on both ABC as well as ESPN. The more you make it available, the more people will watch it.
I still have cable. I do a few streaming options but I also don’t go to the movies or dinner a lot.
That being said, the more you make it available the more folks will watch it. I just don’t think this matchup was a “gotta see” game.
