CFP Miracle Saturday

OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION AND DECREE

LET IT BE KNOWN to all persons present and future, near and far, that upon this day we gather to recognize an occasion of singular wonder and distinction;

WHEREAS, the events of Saturday, December 6th, 2025, have proven themselves to be of extraordinary and unprecedented nature; and

WHEREAS, the cosmos aligned in such fashion as to produce happenings of remarkable and unforeseen consequence; and

WHEREAS, Brigham Young University, The University of Alabama, and The University of Virginia, all lost their respective championship games on this auspicious day; and

WHEREAS, these events assisted in deservedly casting The University of Miami into the College Football Playoff; and

WHEREAS, such occurrences do not grace our mortal realm with any regularity, but rather manifest only in those rare moments when fortune, fate, and perhaps a touch of divine intervention (mischief) converge; and

WHEREAS, the magnitude of such events merits formal recognition and commemoration for posterity; and

WHEREAS, to allow such a day to pass into the annals of history unmarked would be an act of gross negligence and poor stewardship of memory;

NOW, THEREFORE, by the powers vested in me by virtue of common sense, Orange and Green blood, good judgment, sheer audacity, and the confidence that comes from being absolutely certain I’m right about this, I do hereby solemnly PROCLAIM, DECLARE, and ESTABLISH that the sixth day of December in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-five shall henceforth and forevermore be known, celebrated, and commemorated as:

“CFP MIRACLE SATURDAY”

Let it be known throughout the land that this day shall forever stand as a testament to the remarkable, the improbable, and the downright astonishingly miraculous. May all who witness this decree remember it well, speak of it often, and never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of December, in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-five with great ceremony, excessive flourish, and no small amount of glee.

Yup, the stars lined for Miami on Sunday much the same way they did in 1984 when Miami jumped from #7 to #1 after edging Nebraska in the Orange Bowl.

Even if they lose in the first round, it is progress and something to recruit off of. Miami needs to land the best transfer QB in the portal, hopefully one that can run as well as Ward does. Making the playoffs doesn’t hurt Mario’s recruiting cause.

Meanwhile, Michigan just fired its head coach for allegedly poking a staffer; An an incredibly stupid thing to do.

I said it before, but 3 weeks back was Miami’s best chance of making the playoffs, but BYU and OU and NONE of the teams we needed to lose lost. The last 2 weeks were dire as there weren’t big chances for upsets. And by the time it’s conference championship day, a single upset just wasn’t gonna cut it.

EVERYTHING went right this day. Not just the losses, but the magnitude of them.

And on top of everything else, even though it didn’t matter, Ohio State lost too. Icing on the cake.

Not only fired but arrested.

There fixed it for ya ! I did raise a glass when I heard the news .Three cheers !!!

Bobby Petrino: “I poked a staffer, lied about it and got myself fired from a sweet head coaching gig.”

Sherrone Moore: “Hold my beer.”

I’m guessing he threatened the staff member (hopefully, a female) that he was banging.

That’s a very high price to pay for a fling. What a moron.

This might get very ugly depending on what happened and what the evidence is.
