Well, I might as well start one, the board has been fairly quiet overall.
It’s a home game. I DO hope we rest Fletcher, Toney, Moten and anyone else who can use the break. Hopefully, we are up enough by half to give Mensah a break as well.
I want to see better pass protection from our OLine, more of a push in the run game.
On a side not, I HATE this ROP crap, just turn around and hand the ball off like the old days.
I want to see more pressure for our DE’s, better awareness from our LB’s and for the love of all that is the U a secondary that shows up!
I do not know anything about Central Michigan. If Mensah is rested perhaps Nickel will be able to show what kind of set he can run and/or be most comfortable in, pro, RPO, whatever. I do agree that a straight handoff and then isn’t a crime against nature.
Going to tape the game and watch when able to fast forward through commercials, interminable timeouts, halftime, etc. Life is too short.
Well Wake won at Louisville so maybe they’re not too bad after all. They won 9 last year but I wasn’t sure how that translated to 2026. Then they struggled at Purdue a couple weeks ago. Good for them and maybe good for us….maybe.
Mallory gave us breathing room on the 2nd drive. Nice catch and move by Upshaw. Better, more steady offensive performance. (Still another false start though.)
Solid performance today. Penalties obviously need to be cleaned up. A couple of the really bad roughing penalties called against us today were BS. The false starts are just plain bad.
