Every county in the world knew how weak and gullible trump was. As a result they sent in foreign agent after foreign agent.

I don’t think CanesSC is a fake moderate.
He does seem to have an affinity for Obama and looks to defend him quite a bit. But my sense is he just liked the guy and doesn’t like when folks say he was one of the worst presidents (I think he was, but that’s subjective, of course).
I understand why African Americans respect and honor Obama. It was a great moment for Americans to see a black man exalt to the highest office and do so with a large majority of the vote. It’s just sad he turned into a horrible president from a policy perspective.
My view on SC is that he’s socially conservative (religious and values derived from religion) but in all other arenas where it’s not directly tied to a moral question, he is extremely liberal. Just my $.02 from years of reading and debating.
The whole purpose of this thread, is to show that Storm’s promises of coming indictments falls short of delivery. His tagline of “Nothing can stop what is coming” leaves much to be desired.
It’s not even about defending Obama. I didn’t worship the ground that he walked on. I was very critical of things he did that I didn’t like. For example; I was furious when the White House was lit up in rainbow colors. One moment he’s against same-sex marriage, and then there was an about-face. Didn’t like that. That’s because I looked at him objectively. I looked at Trump objectively too. However, if you so much as thought about being critical when it comes to Trump, you get labeled as a stupid liberal, Trump hater, you support ruining the country and so on…

Not accurate. I just want everyone to be able to have a fair shake. I like policies that benefit everyone, not just a certain group of people. The problems are there are so many gray areas.

I did. When he finally responded to the pandemic properly, I gave him credit. When he signed the first stimulus, I was the first person on this board that thanked him. Had he handled the pandemic properly in the beginning, he would have walked into re-election.
I have said multiple times to my close friends that the ACA was a problem. I felt forcing people to get insurance wasn’t going to solve the problem of health care in America. The simple fact that insurance companies were not regulated in the beginning is part of the reason costs are sky high. There’s no more compassion in medicine, only the bottom line now. If health insurance was actually more affordable, more people would have it. People having to choose between health insurance and rent is a no brainer.
