Why is Chauvin then being prosecuted. He did nothing illegal in the arrest. He followed the police handbook. It was not his fault the ambulance arrived late. What if he handcuffed Floyd, and Floyd broke away kicked or bit another office. What if Floyd in handcuffs was able to rally the crowd into attacking the police. Floyd was foaming at the mouth when the cops called for ambulance. Had Chauvin just left him on his back, he might have drowned on his own bodily fluid. He did the right thing putting face down, making sure he didn’t fall down and injure his head. The police neither tazed Floyd nor put a restraint on his legs. They chose not to apply maximum allowable force. Floyd could have just runaway from the cops were he not restrained. The restraining technique is pictured in the police manual. Chauvin followed the rules. The cops are medical doctors. Perps llie about not being able to breathe. The cops had no knowledge of Floyd’s serious medical condition. Floyd could have been in the process of dying from the drug overdose when he attacked the officers. Cardiac arrest can happen and be undetectable at autopsy. There is a ridiculous amount of reasonable doubt in this case, but Chauvin is going to sacrificed, and it still won’t assuage the mob. To be sure, there will be more looting. The looters are not social justice advocates. Their just in it to score some bling or steal some Jordans. The entire Minneapolis prosecution is like a Moscow show trial with a press screaming for revenge. Sad day in this republic.
