Armies Losing the Will to Fight

I thought this was an interesting article looking historically at armies who lose the will to fight and why - and that this (might) ultimately happen with Russia:

Can’t do CNN anymore. Looks like an intriguing story tho.

Don’t not read it simply because it’s CNN. It’s an interesting take on history.

Lol…Why didn’t you attack him over it?

It sounds like it’s what you want to be happening and that’s why it’s interesting to you.

It’s what IS happening.

Prove me wrong.

Your favorite Gonzalo Lira is now thanks to Elon back on Twitter. If you want real news about Ukraine, not propaganda, just tune in to Gonzalo and a host of others on Twitter.

51’s article is complete fantasy. The regular Ukraine Army is already destroyed. The war has already been won, but there’s always more time needlessly to prolong the crisis and send more Ukrainians to their doom with the pathetic Biden hope that there may be some minor offensive prior to the Mid-term elections.

It’s been won? Is that why Putin had to call up 300,000 more troops and now men are fleeing the country?

please show me how this war is over.

I know you won’t respond. Because you know you’re full of shit.

It’s all so simple, 51. Russia has won, and there is zero chance of a Ukrainian victory. Time for a pragmatic solution. Protracted violence will lead to yet more slaughter of Ukrainians. Supplying them with arms is contributing to what can be construed as suicide. A smart and ethical president, which Biden is not, he’s a moron, should tell Zelensky that no more arms will be sent to Ukraine and to surrender the country to Russia. The entire mess is a Russo-Slavic civil war. Making peace will of course take time, and as occurred at the end of WW2 in Japan, there will continued sporadic violence for at least another half decade.

If there’s any great criticism of Putin in Russia, it is that of being too concerned with protecting civilians as well as Ukrainian infrastructure. It is only recently, after the terrorism of blowing up the pipe line and bridge, that Putin has ordered a strategic change. The number of men Russia has mobilized for immediate service in Ukraine is 300,000. That number could easily swell to a million. Moreover, Russia is not without ammunition. Much of Ukraine is now without electricity. Even water supply in some areas is limited. It’s time for surrender.

Winter is descending on Europe, and the lack of energy will cause considerable unrest. Already there are numerous public demonstrations against the war. The war is favored only by the ruling leftist elites in Europe, not by the people at large. Being cold and hungry is a relatively new experience for Europeans, especially when it’s not the case in the U.S. The Ukraine war will result in the end of NATO and U.S. hegemony in Europe. And, all of this would never have happened without a rigged U.S. election. Trump didn’t start any wars and in contrast to Biden has a fully functioning frontal lobe. Biden has turned all of Europe against America and has eclipsed even Obama, which I thought impossible, as being a failed president.

You refuse to answer the question @bikki228.

Why do you support Putin, who was doing relatively fine, invading a sovereign nation?

Answer the question.

And while you’re at it - answer me why “the greatest land army in Europe” has been getting its ass handed to them by a supposedly weaker country? Why have men been fleeing the country in droves?

Stop being a pussy and answer the question.

Well there it is folks. Our resident communist has spoken his gospel.

Men fleeing conscription in droves and Russia - almost 9 months in - fully controls how much of the country?

Greatest land army in Europe, right @bikki228?

That senile moron says Russia has won but doesn’t respond to anyone asking him why Russia. Has yet to overrun Ukraine.

Real news, you know, like Poland invading Ukraine. And bikki has the gall to talk about “:complete fantasy.”

Great! We’re back to this!

Russia needed to undertake an emergency mobilization very late into the game, but it’s the UKRAINE army that’s low on manpower, right?
