No, I agree. That’s why they are halting the plans to dollarize and shut down the Central Bank. They need stability first, and they are going with more traditional economics minds to achieve that.
But their ultimate goal is to shut down the Central Bank OF ARGENTINA, and it has been explicitly stated over and over no matter how many times you deny it.

My wife is Argentinian (well, born in Cali but her family) and her mother and extended family are still there. Her sisters were born in Argentina before coming here. They aren’t fans of this, but the country has a history.
This vote was not a surprise. Let’s not forget Argentina was openly welcoming Nazis after WW2 per order of the President. It was the primary ratline destination and has a propensity for fascist ideas.
Yeah I really have no idea what this guy will turn out to be. He campaigned on how corrupt the central bank was and was going to abolish it, then as soon as he’s elected he switches his bank head to the same one the last guy used. So we’ll see.
