Any MLB fans?

I’ve rediscovered MLB baseball over the past 3-4 years. I had a little lull there but now that my boy is playing we watch a lot of games together (great quality time).

Couple of thoughts:

Aaron Judge- holy shit man. 43 with 60 games to go? He will be the LEGITIMATE home run king if he stays healthy. 66 I predict.

Justin Verlander- greatest pitcher of the “post-300” generation? If this man doesn’t lose 2 seasons he’s on the door to 300 wins which is amazing in this pitch count era.

Juan Soto- great player, going to over price himself. Baseball can’t be won by one player and he will make himself a poison pill.

Top 5 teams in MLB right now that have best chance to win it all? (No order)

PS - Minor Leagues- Watch out for Anthony Volpe. I get to watch this kid regularly while he’s down here playing AA for the Yanks in Somerset. He’s the real deal. The next Jeter in my opinion. Started slow and is now on fire.

LOVE baseball.

Verlander is only at 240. 30 and 30 is pretty steep these days. Always been a fan, though. I hope he gets there.

Judge is a monster beast…so good, such a great character to play for the Yanks. 2nd fastest to 200 homeruns and I think he’s more of a long termer than Ryan Howard.

I’m a Rangers fan. It’s not fun.

Trade to the Padres along with Josh Bell

Think about this - they had Bryce Harper, Anthony Rendon, Max Scherzer, Trea Turner and Juan Soto…all gone in a matter of a few years. That’s like the early 90s Mariners…
