He was from Fort Lauderdale and his mother wanted him to go to UM. IIRC he was committed to UM at one point. His mother actually took his NSD paperwork to prevent him from signing with another team. He eventually signed with Arkansas and had a great career there. Left a year early which was probably a mistake since he wasn’t drafted until the 5th round. Was in the league for 5 seasons, the last being 2021. Had decent not great stats not sure why his career ended at 27.
