Odd that Miami is one of three ACC teams to have yet played a conference game. To me it feels like “the season” is well underway. Yet, these are the games that “count.” At least traditionally, hearkening back to the days when conferences mattered. With recognition that UM was an independent for a very long time.
Even noting that rankings factor in the whole season, hard to wrap my head around the ACC schedule mattering “more.”
