My wife is young, so she watched JFK for the first time, yesterday. Obviously, it sprung into a wave of conversation. I did notice that many of the same phrases and beliefs people who might think JFK was assassinated under a conspiracy sounds quire similar to the beliefs and phrases of Qanon or Trump on the Deep State today.
It seems curious to me that so many people would so many would consider JFK’s death to be part of a conspiracy, while at the same time disregarding Trump’s Deep State argument.
I’m guilty of this, maybe. I spent years on this, but concluded that Oswald just killed him. Flat out. But, I’ve forgotten so much I can’t remember the arguments about some of the incidents that, upon seeing them again and thinking about them for the first time in years, I have no answer for.
