They WERE active dude. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were reorganized in 2015 - it’s not like they just started existing.
And they had just gone through almost 2 YEARS of war at that point. That’s more recent experience than most special operations forces groups!!!
And I know you like to pretend the Donbas war doesn’t exist, but 10,000 Ukrainians died in it BEFORE RUSSIA OFFICIALLY INVADED. There was fighting, and it definitely counts as experience.

Ukraine has been working with NATO for 20 years. Just because you don’t know about it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. They’ve been a part of the War on Terror. It was outlined in their NATO membership action plan over a decade ago.

Since February it’s been clear. Ukraine prepared. Russia did not.
And yet another thing QSC refuses to answer is why he supports Putin. It’s clear that he does but he won’t answer the question.
GSC’s circular logic, for posterity:
1) US SOF is in Ukraine because Russia hasn’t responded.
Russia has responded.
2) Fine but it can’t be Ukraine SOF cause they didn’t even exist until 2015.
They existed since 1991, and before that as part of the Soviet Union.
3) Fine but they’re a joke. They’re not capable.
NATO declared them capable in 2019. The first non-NATO team to earn that honor.
4) Fine but they haven’t been in active war before.
Actually, they were a vital part of the 2014 Donbas war. Then NATO reorganized them in 2015 and they’ve been trained up for 7 years, during wartime. And even now, the bridge strike happened 8 months into the Russian invasion, after even more support and training by NATO.
5) Post-2014 is too new. I want to see a body of work from before that.
Sure, Iraqi Freedom and the War on Terror.
