Let’s Go Brandon!
The best is when the fed chair and all these told us…Inflation won’t be that bad or some inflation is doable and it’s nothing to worry about.
Now they are warning us how bad the inflation could get and we may have to take drastic measures to combat it?
So basically the average Joe on the street was correct? Inflation is bad, and what they are doing caused it?
You missed the first part. They said inflation didn’t really exist. Then they said it does exist and it will be here for a while.
Now they are trying to spin how high gas prices and heating oil prices are actually good for us because it might bring about clean energy sooner.
They don’t care about the average American. They are laughing in your face.
You missed the first part. They said inflation didn’t really exist. Then they said it does exist and it will be here for a while.
Make sure you squeeze in… “It does exist and is healthy” in the middle.
The sickening part of this is that they are pushing these silly vaccine mandates that will worsen the supply chain issues and create an even worse inflation environment.
It’s like this admin is trying to sink the economy on purpose.
But but but the stock market is doing well!
Because this administration knows it is nothing but a stepping stone to communism.
Will 305 finally admit that inflation is here to stay?
Biden said inflation was transitory. Should we believe him?
I know 305 believes the White House messaging. Smart guy that gets hoodwinked a lot.
Really, do tell? What specific things has Biden done that has contributed to or caused inflation?
Further, by what measure are they “trying to sink the economy”? Unemployment has fallen faster than at any point for 70 years, down to 4.6% already from Trump’s 9.6% high. Rising payrolls and 500,000 jobs added last month.
Could it be that you’re simply unreasonable being that the economy tanked under Trump to such levels that we’re technically in a recovery? And yes, the single measure Trump viewed the economy in…the stock market, is at its highest point.
No one takes economic analysis from a lower class business man lol.
- Gasoline has increased 45.1 percent in the past 12 months.
- Energy 24.5 percent in the past 12 months.
- Bacon has increased 8.4 percent in the past 12 months.
- Fresh fish and seafood has increased 6.4 percent in the past 12 months.
- Fresh whole milk increased 7.5 percent in the past 12 months.
- Fresh fruits increased 8.4 percent in the past 12 months.
- Major appliances increased 13.7 percent in the past 12 months.
- Furniture and bedding increased 8.6 percent in the past 12 months.
- Footwear increased 6.5 percent in the past 12 months.
- Airfares increased 24.6 percent in the past 12 months.
- Commodities have collectively increased 9 percent in the past 12 months.
Now- I don’t necessarily BLAME the Biden administration for inflation. I think COVID did that. But I do blame the Biden administration for having NO PLAN to mitigate inflation. And the best they propose is $4trillion in new spending which would…. CREATE MORE INFLATION!
Even this $1 trillion will only cause consumer prices to rise.
While you were buying new track suits and fake gold chains at Kohls, I was building a business, one that will close the year right under $20 million, opening our 2nd and third office in Charleston and Prague, CZ all while during a global pandemic. You start a company and within 5 years take it to almost $20 million from scratch and become multinational and we can talk…Jersey salesman. Maybe you have already. Dunno, but my investors own energy companies and for the most part, are beyond reproach when it comes to $ and they were ecstatic when we paid them off entirely that quickly. You’re more than welcome to go to them and try to pull it off yourself…you can find them at the Petroleum Club in Dallas. Good luck getting in. I’ve never built a business before, so this is pretty damn exciting to me and everyone around us is pretty impressed. Who knows, maybe you built Apple and we just don’t know it. I’ll be semi-retired in Prague within 2 years. Are you staying in Jersey and working your sales job? If you want, you can come visit.
But, with regards to inflation. You’re correct, Covid did much more to this than anything else. Supply chain issues and closed factories due to covid throughout the world are the contributing factors to inflation, but didn’t he start working directly with private companies and shipping lines recently to alleviate said supply chain issues?
I do agree that government spending by nature exacerbates inflation. I spent a lot of time with Keynes in college. But, infrastructure and jobs therein is a worthy investment and long overdue, no? What are other measures to fight inflation? We could raise taxes. Want to do that one? Wage and price controls? Could cause a recession and job losses and nobody outside of Paul Volcker and nobody has had his balls since him, in the 80s. The Fed indicated a rise in interest rates in 2022. Contradictionary monetary policy is standard, but right after a recession? It’s projected to stabilize to 2.3% in 2022, which would be right in line with 2019.
Being that it’s inflation caused by supply chain issues and a pandemic that shut down supply…what exactly do you do? Do you tank the recovery? It’s a catch 22, really. I’d love to read your thoughts on how to alleviate the issue.
The recovery is way slower than it would have been if Biden did his job. Inflation was supposed to be transitory according to Biden and the White House. Remember that?
I didn’t like when Trump touted the stock market either as it’s not a true measure of how things are going.
It’s totally fine now with high gas prices and food prices if you are in the top 5%. Who cares. The middle class are the ones getting squeezed.
It is, huh? It’s the quickest moving unemployment rate in 70 years. Trump took the longest consecutive job growth in history (Obama thanks) and destroyed it within 1 Presidential term. Who are you talking to?
The first year isn’t even over. You’re full of shit.
I think I hurt Warden’s feelings. Lol.
You’re the one that told the board your business is shit a couple of months ago.
And by the way- how long are you going to imply you have searched me and believe you know who I am? It’s a bit creepy dude.
I think someone is obsessed with me a little bit. Focus on your business instead of doing searches on me, you freak.
No, I never did say anything like that. Never would. We’re killing it the last few years. Good team and I am appreciative.
I have no idea who you are. You’re from Jersey and a saleman and everyone has a picture in their head of what that looks like. I suppose I do have a way of figuring out who you are, but that would put someone I care about in a bad position and honestly, they’d probably tell me to fuck off if I asked. He’s a man of integrity
Don’t really care though. Like I said earlier, when I do jujitsu regularly, I don’t need to come on here and fight and vent or whatever. But, I tore my knee to shreds and am sitting here in a leg brace and this is more interesting than spreadsheets at the moment. Me being on here arguing about nothing indicates far more about my faults than yours. I’ll admit that
In reality, I like Skeeter as a person. I don’t know you, but you’re probably a regular dude and just fine as well. I’ve almost never met a person on the other side of politics who within about 20 minutes we couldn’t agree on a compromise of just about anything. Storm is out of his mind, but what are ya gonna do?
Bu, thanks…I’ll definitely try and keep my focus on the business. We’ve been lucky and blessed and have a long fight ahead of us, but doing okay so far.
What are you guys even talking about? Have I commented on inflation at all?
No…Covid MITIGATION did this. And it was quite convenient for your side, and the majority of it grossly unnecessary.
Because it was basically “artificial” unemployment for lack of a better word. It was forced upon people and businesses for no reason. Then it was, probably for a lot of people, milked. Now obviously people are going to go back to work.
I know every side claims they accomplished things…Or they walked into a bad situation…Yada yada
But this instance I think we both can agree was unprecedented. Everything was fine before bullshit covid mitigation that Trump was forced to go along with…The left played convenient Covid beautifully, kudos.
I’ve almost never met a person on the other side of politics who within about 20 minutes we couldn’t agree on a compromise of just about anything
This is how I always was…And still prefer to be. Then the last 1.5 years came and it is impossible for me to be anti-far left. They have invaded my life.
When they told you it was OK for George Floyd to have 3 national funerals but the rest of the country had to remain locked down and worst yet couldn’t bury their mothers and fathers…If your radar didn’t go off then then you are part of the problem. Now they are forcing children to wear masks…Inexcusable.
98% of every day shit is gray area to me.
Agreed. It was. However, claiming Trump has the lowest black unemployment or that he did nearly anything for the actual economy is just the same thing. You definitely get a little boost economically if you tell business you’re not enforcing regulations for shit and have at it. That spurns a little momentum but is short sighted and we always pay for it, hence the massive deficits bc Trump spent like a drunken sailor.
But, yeah…agreed. It’s a bullshit accomplishment. Nothing Biden did contributed to that figure as far as O l know.
Agreed on the Floyd funerals. In fact, I don’t agree with a national funeral for the guy in general.
No I would say they are very much different…Although I don’t disagree many, including myself, would over emphasize it in an arguement. Although it was always to make a point against fabricated racism arguments and the media’s ridiculous onslaught against Trump.
