Washington twins transfer from Killian to Palmetto
Is that good or bad for UM, or makes no difference?
No idea
The consensus seems to be āno differenceā but I didnāt dig too deeplyā¦I guess Robbie didnāt get along with one of the Killian coaches, which as much as I like the kid on the fieldā¦Is never a good sign.
As of now early July
Definite, commitable offers:
1-8
11, 14, 24, 37, (no idea on nole legacy #10)
Verbal offers, but look more like backup plans
9, 17
Recruiting, but no offer as of Early July
13, (maybe 16 and 22)
Kids Iād like to see them involved with, at least as backup plans
12, 15, 19, 27, 28, 36
Bump, may be final one hereā¦Added Antonie Jackson, our commit who re-classified.
As of right nowā¦
UM Commits: 2, 8, 11, 16, 33
I predict theyāll land: #3, #7 (not strong, but I think he flips), #15
Coin Flip: #9 ( I would say UM if I had to)
Offered and missed on: #1, #6, (maybe #10, no idea)
Maybe Missed: #5 (some say new staff cooled)
Probably miss, but not dead imo: #4, #17
Could be in class: āofferedā but not sure if commitable: , #14, #18, #26
Sleeper Iād love to see us get in on: #27 (grades?)
7 of top 12 is very good here.
Itās a wrap hereā¦
So UM offers 17 and lands 9. And gets 7 of the top 12 on my list
All in all, I always say getting 50- 55% of Tri-county offers, and usually just higher than that in Dade is a reasonable goal and job well done. All in all, outside of WR it was a little bit of a down year in South Florida. Although Iād say the top 7 or 8 were as good as most years. Would have liked to see us nab one more of the WR, obviously in such a deep year.
In those numbers, I counted Clark, J.Brown and Joseph as offers. I did not count Lamont Greene, Jrā¦And Iām not sure if Jalen Brownās offer was still committable (did we pull it back?), so the percentage could actually have been a little higher. But 9 of 17 is a pretty good job ratio
The main kids who werenāt offered that I would have liked to see were #15 Mack and #22 Holmes (Still unsigned, maybe grades?)ā¦Iām also not sure we should have forced Seymour out giving later whiffs at WR.
Iād like Miami to get Holmes placed then bring him in if he gets grades and develops.
