But “their call” for unity is meaningless that’s the point.

But I 100% get that you’re skeptical. From the beginning, if you had just said, “It’s just political rhetoric. I don’t think he’ll actually try to unify anything.” then I might’ve agreed with you. Instead you attacked me for some reason.
Biggest problem today is the media. In speaking with friends, who I’d label moderate Democrats, they are 100% convinced that our summer of riots was all Radical Right Republican driven to make it look like the left was rioting. They form their opinions based on the narrative we are fed.
All Americans should fear the media as they are nothing more than propaganda agents.
So well said…And I have done so possibly 1000 times on this message board…and possibly 100,000 in my everyday interactions with people in real conversation the last year.
The idea that all the rioting and looting in the summer was caused by right-wing instigators is just as ludicrous as the idea that antifa instigated the Capitol insurrection.
Of course instigators will be present at these situations. Of course there are “two sides” partaking in these events. But we need to be realistic about the individuals in the masses.
I bet at every single one of these protest events, left or right, there are tons of good, normal people.
My hopes are not for Biden. I hope Biden fails on any number of initiatives.
I want America to win. Under Trump, I got used to winning. My hopes are that Biden does as little damage as possible to the country. If and when Biden does something good, I shall welcome same, but I remain skeptical about America’s future under Biden, and I continue believing the election was rigged. I think my reaction is quite natural since I, together with tens of millions of others are now full-fledged victims of a crime, a monumental scam successfully perpetrated on this nation’s people. Were I religious, I’d now being praying like a whirling dervish.
