Storm is right about Russia and Tucker Carlson. The War in Ukraine cannot be won by Ukraine, and the longer hostilities last, the more Ukrainians will be massacred. As it stands now, they’re all but committing suicide. Small wonder Ukrainians are leaving their nation in droves.
The dismemberment of the Soviet Union created geographical pockets of ethic Russians who suddenly found themselves without a country. Ukraine attempted to force Russians into becoming Ukrainians, something that is inimical to their culture and history. Families who considered themselves Russian for the last three or four hundred years reject allegiance to a government that is far more corrupt than Russia. MacGregor sees Ukraine as being even more corrupt than the government of Mexico.
Fighting a proxy war to punish Russia is both stupid and feckless. The Russian people have always yearned to be Europeans and incorporating Russia into a trading partner with Western nations is a way of transforming Russia away from its totalitarian past. Perpetuating Russia as an enemy can only increase strife and drive the largest nation on earth, one with the greatest untapped resources, into an orbit with China. No one is more instructive about what is going on in Russia and Ukraine than Doug MacGregor who has turned out to be a masterful writer and certified truth teller.

Small wonder Russia has prospered under Putin and our sanctions have had very little effect on Russia.
The worst thing of all about Ukraine is that IMO there would have been no war in Ukraine had Trump not been swindled out of the presidency in 2020. Biden has been a colossal failure both domestically and like Obama even worse in foreign policy. Much of the blame for the death and suffering of Ukrainians and to a lessor degree of Russians can be blamed on Joe Biden’s miserable performance as president. Indeed Biden wants to fight this war down to the last Ukrainian.
