What made it tougher to believe was the way certain counties changed their mind on whether they were finishing that night or stopping and continuing the next day. Same happened with early voting ballots and deadlines.
Make a deadline and stick to it. Or else you can’t blame anyone for believing you are watching a scoreboard for the target you have to shoot at.

I don’t understand how a state as large as Florida can have its shit together when there are other swing states that just so happen to drag on the count forever. And the count that drags on there always goes one way.
Have some consistency and don’t even allow for the impression of impropriety.
Better yet, just hold the elections like some other Western countries that seem to have their shit together. We clearly don’t. And I think that’s the point.

Florida allows counting mail ballots BEFORE election day. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan DO NOT HAVE THAT LUXURY. They cannot begin counting until election day (or the day before sometimes in Michigan).

And the rest of my post still stands. Don’t allow for scoreboard watching and rogue areas like the inner cities that can’t get their votes counted, or take time off, delay etc.
We have a busted system.
Vote on Election Day unless you have a specific reason not to.
Count the votes in a timely manner, and release the results at one time.
Don’t allow trickle in from places like Fulton County that have excuse after excuse why they can’t process votes etc.

Funny enough, the Dems were SCREAMING about the need for this before the 2020 election. Everybody knew the count would be delayed.

The chaotic nature of our voting system allows it to be easier to cheat. Adopt a system with voter ID that is more airtight and you will have less complaining from Republicans.
France has no trouble conducting a national election. It’s much harder to cheat if voters must appear in person, and all voting is done in ONE day. People who care about voting show up. Mail-in voting is forbidden in France.

Well, they mail each voter the ballot and then they go in person, which is always on a Sunday so more people can vote. You can also vote as a proxy for another.
Yes, I use France as an example, because France carries out elections in a manner superior to ours. We were the ones, not France, that had a rigged election. You should know by now that I am a non-chauvenist and give credit where credit is due. And, France deserves a lot of credit.
