He has no idea who has the ball. Storm you think a 275 pound guy running down hill can stop and start and than quickly change direction when all his momentum is going one way. What does Bosa do…play the odds that their film and analytics are right. He guessed wrong.
The reason you are wrong and cant be taken serious is your lack of knowledge is off the charts. The NFL and College use either DV Sports (https://www.dvsport.com) or a system from a company called (X;s o Technology) also know as Catapult Sports. What these systems do is they break down every game (example-Niners) played since Mike Shanahan took over as coach. This program will go through every play, every formation, whe the team runs right, left, middle…It has everything the Niners do in every single situation. The analytics come out of that program and as a defensive coach it will tell you everything Shannahan likes to do. (Tendencies)…The program starts at (200k) and is upwards to a million dollars per season. University of Miami uses a program like this as does every college and pro team. So now you have the coach on the other side which takes the numbers and with the help of this program it eliminates the percentage that something else is run out of those formations. So if the Niners come out in a 1 back set, 2 tight ends, 2 receivers and the play is a run…It is going to tell the opposition in that situation that they run it 90 percet of the time to the right. So what does the defense do…They run a scheme in which they think they guessed right to stop that play. Now the system does not account for the other teams tackling and it does not account for Mahommes keeping the ball on said play above and running for a first down. So when you see Bosa come crashing down…He is does this because the analytics tell him to do so. Sometimes Bosa may get lucky and not get caught so far up the field and the play breaks down and PM makes the play. Most of the time the system is right…and you go how did Bosa know this. Other times he sees it quicker, stops him momentum and can make the tackle. This ideal that football is rigged or schemed is BS…The reality is football teams all know what teams mostly run and it comes down to execution…When you are tired, when the other team that one time goes off the play sheet in that play call…They get caught off guard. Coaches are not recreating the wheel…every play ever called has already been called a million times. It is formations and schemes that 10 percent change during a game…And the great coaches will disguise what they do based on this information. But scripted…That is a god damn joke and insult to the coaches and players who play the game.
