This is a terrible argument. I hear this a lot. Just because the rest of the world is dealing with inflation, and ours is not as bad as some, doesn’t mean our inflation couldn’t be better with better policies. You can’t be this dumb. Some of it was unavoidable with COVID. But, some of the Biden policies made it worse. Continuing to pump money into the economy when COVID was over was a huge problem.
Forgiving student loans would add to the problem.
This is a global economy that we live in and the dollar is huge as currency on the world stage. So we are all tied together and idiotic US policies do have an impact on inflation elsewhere. You can’t be this dense. Just because other countries are making bad decisions doesn’t excuse us.
Pump money into an environment that we are in and compound that with the supply issues and you get what we have.

Well, I’ve got maybe 8-12 classes under my belt relating to economics, post high school. I’m not a rocket scientist, but I do have a basic grasp on Macroeconomics and 30 years of considerable interest. I do understand how inflation works.
Do you have any specific instances of policies that contributed to or caused the inflation and were there any policies or actions that contributed to our cutting inflation over that short of time frame?
