Jan 6 comparatively speaking was a rather mild political riot. I didn’t see any fires, no police cars torched, only one murder at the hands of the police, negligible property damage. Compared to the BLM riots,it would be something just slightly worse than an ice cream social.

I thought of it exactly what it was. It was an assault on our Nation’s Capitol. It was executed by those people who just happened to support the Former President of the United States Donald Trump.
And what it actually was, was a protest…. One that the government manipulated to turn into a event that would not only embarrass the protesters but would immediately throw cold water on their plans.
And it worked. Kudos to them. They were able to get people in there on the front lines to do things they could use to their advantage in the media.
99.999% of the people there had a valid grievance and they wanted to simply be heard. They wanted their government to take their grievance seriously. But instead the Lanisters got the best of them. And so it goes in Game of Thrones.

As far as I know, no one was arrested on Jan. 6th either.
If you watch the video that I provided in the link you can see the senate in session. They stop, the speaker acknowledges that they have a security concern outside and then you can hear people chanting at her in the chamber. It’s pretty clear that someone or someone group was inside.
But it’s still beside the point. The left is mobilizing right now calling for heads. Multiple videos of them doing it and it will only increase toward the midterms.
The left is allowed to protest violently. The right isn’t allowed to protest at all.
