Makes sense
Not at all. We do not have the right to deny life a chance.
So you just proved my point. Thank you.
Now youâre doing two things: A) lying and B) changing the subject. Show me where Iâve said I never gave a shit about the scandal. I wonât hold my breath.
Lmfao! No it doesnât. It requires the processing of oxygen. The mode of intake is irrelevant.
Iâm asserting that a pure pro-choice view means that being pregnant bears no obligation on raising a child. That sex bears no inherent risk of that obligation. Agree or disagree?
Because if you follow that logical conclusion to a man, the gender who has no right whether his conceived fetus gets aborted or not, why should that man then be obligated to financially provide for that child if he never wanted it to begin with? The man has no say in the development until birth, and then heâs suddenly on the hook?
And I never said women make the decision lightly, Iâm saying that ultimately their autonomy is prioritized above the eventuality of a baby, even when having participated in the act of making a baby. Should a manâs autonomy be compromised just for having sex, or should men also have the freedom to choose their autonomy?
Anyway, this is a thought experiment. I donât have an ax to grind, and I do think fathers should have a responsibility for their children in traditional cases, as well as have responsibility for having sex. But I do wonder in some edge cases if our laws are exactly equitable in this sense.
Pregnancy doesnât indicate life. Pregnancy is simply a natural process to develop the baby. The baby is alive before the woman is pregnant.
Ha! He basically admits heâs wrong. Yes! I agree. An ovum is alive.
A sperm is alive.
However, they do not, individually, make a human. Ergo, although alive, do not possess the same inherent value as a human baby.
Thank you for admitting that implantation and pregnancy arenât indicators or necessities for life.
We need to ban all masterbation as a result. Letâs get those righteous, christian conservatives to work.
All sperm lives matter.
We might as well write laws to make it illegal for all girls to menstruate as well. Death penalty unless they catch sperm on first ovulation.
Wait, wut?
Apparently fish donât breathe either.
(Human) life begins at conception. Obviously billions of sperm donât make it to the egg - thatâs nature.
Catholicism recognizes masturbation as a mortal sin because it perverts and negates the orderly reproductive act God created.
So you got your wish.
