I went to see Spiderman this weekend at Alamo Drafthouse, where you can eat food while watching. They required a mask for all the time except when you were drinking or eating. Well, your freaking eating popcorn or drinking something pretty regularly during the movie. I kept watching people trying too pull it down, drink then pull it up, grab a handful of popcorn…pull it down, eat, pull it up. I see on SNL they all act for an hour doing skits without masks, then stand on stage with masks. It’s a fucking joke, I readily admit it.
BUT, I mean…how hard is it to put the fucking thing on when walking into 7/11 because for some reason they still require it? I’m in Texas so it’s not a huge deal. But, 50% of places require it here still. Aren’t there bigger hills to die on than a mask? If you’re fighting a vaccine mandate, I can understand that shit. You’re injecting stuff into your body that doesn’t prevent the spread. But, shit…it’s a dumbshit mask. Takes 2 seconds to put on and take off. I just think there are bigger hills, dude.
