If you believe the press is “freely operating” I’m not sure what to tell you. We have what some would describe as an “advocacy press” - I would more accurately call them a “Pretorian press.”
They are controlled and designed to protect a particular master. They lie, steal, cheat, to achieve this means. They need to be dealt with.
It’s the reason why CNN and MSNBC can do so poorly from a business perspective and still profit. They are being subsidized to do so.

GSC are you sure we’re talking about the same person? Because a lot of what you said fits Trump as well. And he (and you) supported and were happy that the capital was overrun (an insurrection in which people died - which by extension you are ok with as well).
And I realize I’ll never convince you that the election wasn’t stolen. But it wasn’t. I feel bad for you. You’re spending way too much energy on things that a) aren’t true and b) you can’t control.
As for me pontificating - I apologize. As long as you don’t call me a wanna be Catholic when it suits me. I’ll never admit to being perfect, but I do more for the church than you know.
