I said, every poll has a sampling and a methodology. The gold standard is when the sample matches the actual numbers for the area being polled.
So let’s say the poll is in NJ and the poll sampled 60% republicans and 20% democrats and 20% independents…. That would be a really stupid poll to rely on because NJ is about 55% Democrat. So you’d have to “re-weight” the poll to make the sample match the actual demographic it is surveying.
Also, I mentioned looking at the questions. If a poll gives 2 answers and both are bad answers but the respondent must answer, how can we really rely on it? Some polls give the respondent an out with not answering. Some allow them to customize answers and some are highly inflexible and offer a, b, c etc…
So just stop with the nonsense already. You always try to twist my words around.
