That really was a crap play. The defensive backs should have been in front of the receivers, not behind them. Some of them were watching the play unfold rather that covering.

Beck certainly throws a tight ball. With zip on it. Accuracy, well. Could stand to lead receivers more, maybe I am not seeing things correctly.

I think the announcer just said it best, OC’s are afraid to open things up too early and that’s why these games have been defensive struggles. Seriously, ND has something going now on offense and when you give a cocky true frosh kid that kind of confidence…well…but Beck is a calm guy and has been in bigger games…
Finally, our running game just seems so slow and plodding.

Heatherman needs to make some adjustment on corner containment. It seems like forever that when Miami surrenders chunk plays, it’s around the ends. We need to break through and sack the QB. Had we caught the QB, there would have been no TD.
Still amazed at C.J.'s spectacular catch. You can bet it will be on national highlight films. It was truly stupendous.

We wasted 12 seconds for no reason but maybe Beck likes the pressure. Great that we didn’t squander a 2nd touchdown opportunity.
Those wide flair plays to the sidelines to preserve clock time were good strategy of spreading out the defense. We spread out their defense, and our running game will scorch them. The kid from BYU has been a nice surprise. I’d like to see JoJo and Moore go deep near each other. No way IMO can ND handle them deep, especially Moore who is 6’4." JoJo will catch it acrobatically or Moore will just rip it away. I really like this kid Josh Moore.
