I agree that hate-listening to “the other side” is an unhealthy pursuit. It’s good not to be ignorant, I guess, I can’t fault that desire. But if all you’re doing is listening and getting upset at the world, it’s probably better to surround yourself with things that content you.
I’m not a political person. Like, at all. I haven’t voted for a long time. If I did decide to be political I would focus on local politics and wouldn’t GAF what the president of the United States was doing, but I don’t even do this much.
All my life I never watched the news. Newsweek about the wars as a kid was about all. This stint in the Shelter has mobilized me to do more research. It’s good in some ways but overall I don’t believe it actually enriches my life. It’s a lot like facebook, in that regard. I never used to use it much, like once every week or two, and now for work I use it all the time and I don’t like the addictive mentality it instills in me.
Same with talking politics. I have considered why I spend so much time in the Shelter. It’s a time sink. I could certainly be more productive pursuing work or other activities. But I do enjoy a good convo which is why it’s nice to see things calmer in 2022. Anyway, I don’t have much of a point, just rambling.

What is essentially wrong in the debate about the vaccine is the partisanship of MSM and the left to take sides on this issue and suppress other ideas on the subject. Good grief, they ran Zelenko out of New York, even though he cured all of his Covid patients attributing the cure to hydroxychloroquine. Numerous persons of redoubtable scholarship are banned by Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube.Free speech is part of the First Amendment. This is America. This freedom is what epitomizes the United States of America.

Choosing a medicine to take should be a decision of the body’s owner not the government, certainly not that of the idiot in the White House. As a gambler, I sometimes bet on football games. I consider the Las Vegas odds carefully since oddsmakers make a living on their expertise in the field of probability. Weighing pros and cons is a sensible way to make decisions.
I regret taking the vaccines. I not only came down with a terrible case of Covid, I have damaged my heart developing myocarditis shortly after my second Moderna jab. My sense tells me that the vaccine is dangerous, particularly to certain people, but to enough people to suspend its use. My treatment was similar to that of Joe Rogan’s. I took hydroxychloroquine, monoclonals, Ivermectin, anti-histamines, zinc, vitamin drips, and a host of anti-biotics. I suppose I’ll have the heart condition for the remainder of my life. I believe the weight of evidence to date purvasively suggests that persons under 70 years of age should choose conservative treat for Covid and reject being vaccinated with a vaccine without sufficient longitudinal studies.
Why in the world did we depart from century old pandemic practices? The persons quarantined have always been until recently the sick and seriously infirm. Instead, we locked down our people, damaged the economy, and spent trillions in government subsidy. Then, we went haywire over masks. Why would any person of rational thought conclude that a virus 250 times smaller than the smallest aperture in a mask would be protected by a flimsy paper mask. Morons in cars alone wearing masks or joggers running with masks are examples of pure folly. Doctors wear mask to keep from contaminating their patients should they sneeze during a procedure. BTW, when I got my monoclonals, the nurses at the clinic were dressed like astronauts, covered from head to foot with protection, breathing through gas mask respirators.
I think it would be a great idea to consider my thoughts on the subject. Certainly, it would be more civil than snarkily calling me a liar, or alleging misinformation. If the vaccine worked, people would be flocking to be jabbed People are not stupid, and past vaccines have shown great efficacy without thousands of negative reactions. I think in taking a vaccine, one should have reasonable expectations that the vaccine will protect them. It is moronic to force kids to take THIS vaccine when their survival rate if they Covid is over 99 per cent.
A recent study released by the Army revealed an increased incidence of cancer developing among those vaccinated. While this conclusion may be premature, submitting to the vaccine IMO is much riskier than alternative treatment of the disease, and alternative treatment results in natural immunity which is many times better than that afforded by vaccination.
