I will save you the time. I started elite on a 15k dollar investment from my partner. Originally he was supposed to invest over 100k. I took that 15k in 2008 and built a company that is the number one recruiting service in florida. I did this while other companies that were worth millions went by the wayside. This is a fact…the reason I am still around is because I never cut one corner. One of my employees went off on his own and started a transfer /juco business- he will tell you he learned everything from me. Willie worked with me from 2008 - until Jan of 2009. So the letter you showed was when we first started. Michelle was a secretary. Hired her because her father was a former college coach. She was fired for losing multiple clients for my company. Forest Ward never came with my company and is now a coach in Pensacola. He still calls me every year to help his players out. Chuck Muncie was supposed to come with us but decided to stick it out with my former boss from MSL. As I stated when msl went under in 2008 - elite was born
When it comes to the ncaa - once they are on you they are relentless. First time was the Willie Lyle’s situation.
After Willie situation the ncaa made all recruiting services register with them. You had to go on their site and register. I still don’t know how they can tell a company can do business based on their decisions. I personally feel you can fight this in court and win. They decide whether or not you can sell to a college. During the process they can go onto your website and see if you actually have profiles on players. The the first year of registration I had someone building me a website…his name was Russ Bennett. Once me and my buddy Corey long transferred all the information on to his site…he locked us out because I went and brought in an investor. He than called the ncaa and said we did not have any material to sell to the colleges. The ncaa gave me one month to build a new site. Which I did…and we got certified.
Now the third times a charm…not for me. It took me ten years plus to get university of Miami onboard. They would not buy my service because assholes like bill said I was basically steering kids to fsu. To this day one coach I know always brings this up. Al Golden had the rough NSD and Mario and Coley went to Al Golden and said if we are going to have success in florida we need to either hire fish or get his service. I mean golden the day after nsd when Miami lost recruits like Alex Collins. Golden said get his service. I helped put them on players like Gus Edwards and many other players Miami did not know about.
While working with Miami they bought NJ and my florida package. NJ also included NY and PA. So Miami paid me 10k…they could not pay the entire amount at once since it was over 9k. Anything over that would have to go up for bid…Miami paid me 9500 and on the invoice I put a 500 dollar discount with the rest to be paid a few months later. Neither UM or myself knew this was a violation. Miami had to self report and Miami had to explain to the ncaa that they were paying the extra 500. The ncaa states if you give a discount to one school you must give it to all. I was shut down for about 2-3 weeks until I hired a lawyer, went to Indiana and t my lawyer basically threatened them and said please shut my clients company down so he can retire early. They backed off and certified me. I have not had an issue since. What’s sad is no one knew about the invoice accept Miami, me and and an employee named Julie Corona. She was a pos…I found out later she turned me in for the invoice.

I was asked by Bret Beliema at Wisconsin to come work for him through Charlie Partidge. The pay was not worth it at the time. I interviewed with Miami when manny was head coach. He hired Andy Vaughn. I have been asked to work at some smaller schools. I have helped many coaches get offensive and defensive coordinators jobs. I told a coach at rutgers to hire Lincoln Riley when he was a wr coach at Texas Tech and then ECU. I have helped many off the field guys get into the coaching business. If you ask pretty much any coach in college or hs they know who I am…I have personally been in head coaches offices. So please keep looking…lol
As I stated before…you may find someone that says fish can be an ass but he is a good guy. You will never find a single person who says I fucked them over and did them wrong. My father once said to me people take kindness as a weakness…I was kind to many people and paid the ultimate price. I had one major flaw…I hired some shitty people. Should have listened to my wife who warned me many times.
