Ironic that we are repeating Rumsfeld mistake by handing weapons over to the Taliban some 40 years later.
Shame that the Afghan military was derelict. We certainly couldn’t outfit them with pitchforks tho.
Not a good situation anyway you slice it, but it isn’t as dramatic as some would attempt to make you believe. More worrisome is Russian or Chinese military influence.
