Very disappointing we couldn’t at least get a FG before the half. With an offense like FSU’s, anything can happen in the 2nd half. It seems like we fall behind with defensive adjustments.
Now that it is halftime I can mention something weird. I have Verizon Fios. I tune into the usual channel. It says this game is available in HD, do you want to switch to that? Sure, why not?
On the HD channel, though, there’s no commercials. The channel just kinda goes dead. You see the field with no real sound. Then abruptly the game ensues again. Not complaining. Just took me off guard. Weird.
My espn box score updates before the play is run on ABC. I can’t help but look.
Was about to mention that. I know the immediate reaction for a fan is to wish death on rivals but I can’t help but want teams we beat to end up with a decent record. For better or worse, “strength of schedule” has become such a major factor that you have to throw emotion out of the equation if you want your team to nudge forward.
That’s the only thing I hate about streaming.
I also have Fios. I love watching games on the 4K channel… no commercials!!
