Well the greater point is that vaccines can be and often have been deadly. The same can be said of many medicines in general.

The issue at stake is whether or not the cure is worse than the disease.

Which is why merely pointing out side effects – and even fatalities – without comparing them to the risk of the disease, is meaningless.
