Frequently, I’ve cited essays by James Howard Kunstler whose writing style I find similar to gallows humor as he often tears apart the Democrat Party’s games of pretending. Kunstler was once a leftist, but now is a staunch supporter of Donald Trump whom he regards as courageous. A NYC guy by birth, Kunstler developed a love for small town living and presently resides in a rural town in his home state of New York. In this piece, Kunstler emphasizes “pretending.” I just love the third paragraph of the attached essay–pretending, pretending, and pretending. The essay treats the sordid case that transpired in the great city of Minneapolis, the city that gave us the great martyr George Floyd.
