So I just caught up on some twitter… I’m really kinda neutral on Charlie Kirk, I don’t think he was a racist at all, I think that s a given…Although of course the race-peddling delusional wardens of the world will paint him as such. I think he said some fairly common sense things that I liked, but from what I read of him he was a bit too far right for me, and overall crusaded against things that are meaningless and dumb. I believe I blocked him on twitter because I was getting his stuff in my timeline and it was just dull and unnecessary. But again I do think he made some good points.
But with regard to recent revelations…looks like you guys were wrong and Kirk was indeed a leftist, anti-fascist, in a relationship with trans etc…
I don’t think I was wrong. We knew about the anti-fascist bullet-casing memes before I commented.
What I said was he was another FORMER Trump supporter. He was raised in a MAGA family. His grandmother said she didn’t even personally know any Democrats. And he dressed up in a Trump Halloween costume when he was 16. Is that enough to conclude he was a Trump supporter at one time? Maybe not, but it’s suggestive. Probably he was just going along with his family at that time.
Politically, besides his choice of Halloween costume, we don’t know much about him except that he was not registered as Republican OR Democrat, and that he hadn’t voted in the last couple elections. Probably he never voted at all, which would suggest he wasn’t super political overall.
Ya…seems kinda nuetral on a lot of current political issues, huh?? You’re just embarrassing yourself now. I mean you’re not quite Warden incorrect, (this fucking idiot warden said “it’s your murder” to bikki) and yes you did say former MAGA family (did they admit that? Or just conservative?) which you then seem to take a leap of faith was the reason he became a “disillusioned” wack job…. But yes, what you said in the 1st place has proven not to be the case.
How do you type that with a straight face? Just man up and admit it, it’s cool
You people are so lost…Couldn’t wait to attack bikki, now we need gps to find you.
Grandmother said she didn’t know a single Democrat.
Ya… seems very partisan, huh??.
Yes, we can be pretty certain the shooter did not like or agree with Kirk. And while we don’t have any evidence (yet), trans rights might be involved.
It is weird if this guy was making a political statement that he didn’t… make a political statement. Usually guys that like leave manifestos and whatnot.
Grandmother said she didn’t know a single Democrat.
And who gives a fuck who his grandmother knew?
You think his grandmother sat down for coffee with the kid’s former man-turning-woman girlfriend? You think this dude was in a rush to bring this special catch home to mom, dad, and granny?
Usually guys that like leave manifestos and whatnot.
Well you can pay attention to facts that support your narrative and not “give a shit” about facts that go against it if you like. I’m really the only one here who’s not making a strong statement about the dude’s views. Everybody else seems to be an expert who knew him closely.
Those “facts” you speak don’t go against anything. They are meaningless. It literally doesn’t matter how he is registered…No one pays attention to that shit and many don’t register to a party. And who his 65-85 year old grandmother knew? Why in the hell would that matter? You are going out of your way to be naive.
Just man up and admit it and move on. Simple stuff here.
’m really the only one here who’s not making a strong statement about the dude’s views. Everybody else seems to be an expert who knew him closely.
I didn’t makee any statement at first either, but we now know enough to make a statement. Obviously…You guys attacked Bikki, now give him his flowers.
Lol doesn’t mean that at all. Maybe he fucking hated both candidates.
Christ man, just hold that L and move on.
I don’t remember attacking bikki, but I do remember and will repeat that his view that there’s no such thing as right-wing violence is ridiculous.
Okay semantics whatever…Replace “attack” with whatever word you want. You called him out in both threads.
And your exact quote was this is “another former trump supporter who’s now disillusioned with Maga”…So yes, just fucking admit you were wrong. And now you are attempting to save some type of face by moving from “Former maga” to “non-political”…When the answer is out there clear as day. It’s really simple here, you were quick to spout off some unfounded, false bullshit and you’ve been proven wrong.
I don’t recall saying there is no such thing as right wing violence, though I might have made such a faux pas considering I might at the time have imbibed enough alcohol to dull my ordinarily flawless logic. Nor for that matter do I suffer from age related infantilism, but there are days when things I ought to remember elude me. I am by the way still considered something of a wizard at trivia despite living more than eight decades.
What afficts our nation in the main is no doubt leftwing violence. Though I could eloquently (I hope) expand on this topic, I’ll leave that task to Victor Davis Hanson, a paragon of rational thought. There is simply no way that Robinson was not influenced and compelled to violence by leftism. Here VDH’s take on the subject:
If he hated all the candidates for his whole life and never voted for any then yeah, probably not political. Though he did wear a Trump costume one Halloween, so there was a smidge of politics in him.
Yes, I did say it originally looked like that. Based on his upbringing and his apparent support for Trump when he was 16, that take might not be wrong. I thought most conservatives agreed with this take too, that the kid was pretty normal until he went to college and changed? Aren’t those both the same thing?
Saying we don’t know a lot about his politics and that he probably wasn’t super political is just my analysis today, based on everything we know so far. My analysis today doesn’t change whether I was right or wrong in my initial guess.
It matters if you’re refuting my guess that he probably used to be a Trump fan and now he’s not?
Now you’re saying it doesn’t matter if I’m correct, 16 doesn’t count? Okay.
It’s not a fact, that’s for sure. I said it looked like he was a former Trump fan who isn’t anymore. Could I be wrong? Sure thing, but I don’t think I said anything unreasonable.
