Book Recommendation

Alex Marlow from Breitbart has a book coming out next week and I encourage those of you in this forum to check it out. It’s called Breaking the News and it exposes the media for what they are are goes behind the scenes behind the players who pull the strings.

The bottom line is that there are a few big donors (players in the game) that run everything and dictate the mainstream narrative. They are very well funded and coordinated. He went into painstaking detail to research this and cites his sources. Those that say the media doesn’t have an agenda should check it out.

He also goes into the 2020 election and talks about the improprieties in detail. He doesn’t go so far as saying it was “rigged” but he says the system was set up to allow chaos.

Those of you that bash Breitbart need to know that they have a high standard on sources as they will be cancelled in a heartbeat if they are wrong. They are fact checked like crazy because the MSM hates them.

Give it a read if you want. He names names and talked about the major players behind the media game.

It’s going to incite a lot of folks. Coming out next week.

No thanks. I stopped reading at Breitbart.

Why?

I take brietbart as seriously as you take MSNBC.

I get the stigma but what if the sources were 100% verified? Would you give it a chance?

I’d read something from MSNBC. No joke, I would give it a chance.

I wouldn’t shut it out altogether - but considering Breitbarts leader…I’ve got high suspicion.

It’s pretty ironic what you say they talk about - they are basically self incriminating.

Fair enough. Just saying, it may open some eyes and it may change your perception of things.

Who’s their leader?

You know who I’m referring to.

They get fact checked like crazy and can’t afford to get stuff wrong or they would be gone.

If you just listen or read the content and sources you might have a different opinion. Yes, they are biased but they don’t hide it.

It doesn’t mean what they are saying is false.

Great article BTW

But today, the latest cynical purveyor of misinformation to confess his sins is Alex Marlow, editor of Breitbart, one of the most highly trafficked news and analysis website on the right. He told CNN last week that the publication he runs, reporting to Steve Bannon, wasn’t honest in its coverage of Roy Moore’s Senate campaign. Rather than letting the merits of the race dictate coverage, Breitbart skewed its work and cast doubt on Moore’s accusers to protect President Trump:

What’s your point DJ? That’s one example of them putting a spin on a story. I can find hundreds of examples for your favorite news outlets.

I said they had an angle and were biased towards populism and America first. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have factual reporting most of the time. No one is 100% right.

CNN lies on a daily basis and you soak it up.

Ok- if it’s who I’m thinking then he…

A. was not the founder of Breitbart

And

B. Left in 2015

So no idea why it would make you stop reading them.

I don’t read them because they are no longer conservative.

I never said he was the founder

Only staunch progressive liberals believe this…The rest of the world is figuring this out

Imagine…At this point of the game…Believing that mainstream media doesn’t have an agenda. You have to be one blind (perhaps willingly), agenda-pushing sheep.

Nope…dj is on the side of 100% truth tellers? You didn’t know this?
