I did. I have no doubt Russia struck it. Itās one of many civilian targets they hit every day. The question is whether it was a valid military target or not.
In the past, Russia has sometimes made statements to that effect, like when they previously bombed a closed mall that was housing military vehicles. This case looks like civilians were shopping and got hit, so I donāt know.
Word is one or two KH-22 anti-ship cruise missiles hit the mall, launched from a TU-22 bomber.
These are the least accurate of Russiaās cruise missiles. Thereās a factory just north of the mall that was a likely target. If it was indeed an ASM it would show that Russia is using whatever it has on hand.
This is pretty wild. After several days of shelling Snake Island, Russia has retreated. Surprisingly, Russia addressed the action in the media, making a statement that they withdrew as a āgesture of goodwill.ā
LMAO these guys
The battle for this island has been a roller coaster and who knows if Russia will return again or leave it be. It seems with Ukraineās increased strike capabilities, it doesnāt make sense for Russia to attempt holding it anymore. Their troops and equipment there are sitting ducks.
