Awful pass defense. Those defenders just watched and assumed the receiver would drop the bell. Two of them there and no contact.

Here comes that backfield motion play that has fooled us the entire game.
Two stupid plays in a row by Duke Kicking FG was dumb. Then kicking a squib kick was even dumber.
It seemed like Duke’s offense didn’t have it. FG was a safe call. But good to see Miami offense back in form. We need one more TD at least.
If you fail on 4th, you leave Miami inside the ten yard line. FG was dumb.

The most frustrating thing in the world.
I don’t care that Restrepo dropped it, but I have an issue with attempting the 50 yard pass TD in the first place. 2nd and 5,we don’t want to play conservative, but play possession, short and safe. We eat clock and score again and that’s game.
We need to put it away on this drive.

I realize now that the only reason we went for that long Restrepo pass was to give him the record. It almost but us in the ass. And then Restrepo got the record organically on his own.
Can any of you still remember how we stunk it up in the 2nd quarter. I was then pretty much expecting to lose this game.
